FAQ
Everything you need to know about winning $PONS.
What is PonsLotto?+
A hold-to-win lottery built on Robinhood Chain. Hold the PonsLotto token and you're automatically entered into recurring draws that pay out $PONS to a randomly selected holder, weighted by how much of the token they hold.
Do I need to stake or lock anything?+
No. There is no staking, locking, or claiming required to play. Simply holding the PonsLotto token in your wallet is your entry. Your balance is your tickets.
What's the difference between the PonsLotto token and $PONS?+
The PonsLotto token is what you hold to play. $PONS is the existing Pons token you win as the prize. The protocol pays winners in real $PONS from its prize pool.
How is the winner chosen?+
When a draw settles, the contract draws a random number on-chain and selects a winner proportional to each holder's ticket balance snapshotted at the start of the draw. Holding more increases your odds — it never guarantees a win.
How does the snapshot work?+
Because the PonsLotto token is launched separately, an official Keeper assembles the list of current holders and submits it. It cannot fake anyone's ticket weight — the contract reads real balances on-chain — and the winning ticket is drawn on-chain.
How often do draws run?+
An official Keeper runs draws automatically on a cooldown cadence. The Home page shows the live countdown to the next draw.
How do I receive my prize?+
Automatically. When a draw settles, $PONS is transferred straight to the winner's wallet. Only if that automatic transfer soft-fails does the prize become claimable on the Dashboard.
Is the randomness fair?+
The winning ticket is drawn on-chain from block randomness (prevrandao), appropriate for a low-stakes community game. For high-value deployments the draw can be upgraded to a verifiable random function (VRF).
Which network is this on?+
Robinhood Chain (chain ID 4663), an Arbitrum L2 on Ethereum using ETH for gas. Add it to your wallet from the Robinhood Chain docs and make sure you're connected to it.
